Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Must pass color vision and color hue tests.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Proficient use of hand tools.
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press.
• Perform make ready by installing rollers, plates, inks and dies; adjust for print quality.
• Clean, lubricate and perform minor adjustments to machinery.
• Notify supervision of repairs or replacement parts.
• Deliver finished material to appropriate manufacturing areas.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and safe to operate.
• Assist with other printing processes as directed by supervision.
• Assist in training other team members.
• Follow LEAN principles and maintain a clean workspace.
• Support continuous improvement, quality, cycle times, safety and cost reductions.
