Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead safe, day-to-day second shift data operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage a team of robot pilots, ensuring safe execution and real-time coaching while collaborating with R&D, IT, and facilities to drive improvements.

The role requires a servant leader mindset, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to navigate changing priorities and stakeholder demands on a night shift in Waltham, MA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee performance management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading large, fast-paced teams in an operations or production environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable plans.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, push/pull, climb stairs for up to 12 hours and lift up to 49 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Own the safe, end-to-end execution of third shift data collection operations across multiple species.
• Promote a safe working environment and drive long-term systemic solutions.
• Provide real-time coaching to drive quality and manage performance.
• Be a servant leader who dives into work to unblock blockers and fill in as needed.
• Partner with R&D, Fleet Ops, IT, and Building Ops to solve problems and influence change.
• Turn insights into action by translating data and observations into plan-driven improvements.
• Drive sustainable results through durable tools and mechanisms.
