Job summary

Edged Data Centers seeks a Facilities Technician to support operations, safety, and critical infrastructure across our data centers. You will monitor electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems, perform scheduled maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with building systems and IT equipment.

The role requires 1–3 years in similar environments, a high school diploma or GED, and a technical certification preferred. Shift flexibility, strong teamwork, and safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in data centers, IT support, facilities, or similar technical environment.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, security, and regulatory requirements including JHAs and local regs.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
• Troubleshoot and document issues; assist incident reporting and root cause analysis.
• Provide on-site support to customers, vendors, and contractors and coordinate with internal teams.
