Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Maryland's Frederick location seeks a Data Center Facilities Manager (Night Shift) to lead critical infrastructure operations, including electrical and mechanical systems, to keep the global cloud running reliably.

This role manages 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers, drives improvements, coordinates with vendors, and ensures safety, security, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in a management role with 5+ direct reports.
• 5+ years in a data center or mission-critical environment with UPS, generators, HVAC and related infrastructure knowledge.
• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading 24x7 engineering teams and coordinating vendor activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team across multiple shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Drive improvement projects from concept to completion with cross-team collaboration.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet contracted SLAs.
• Manage operations budget and expenditures.
