Job summary

CyrusOne is hiring a Critical Environments Operator for its Carrollton, TX location. This role supports the 24/7 operations by monitoring and maintaining critical data center infrastructure during the night shift. Ideal candidates come with experience in operations, maintenance, or HVAC/R, with positions available from associate to lead technician levels.

With a focus on safety and operational excellence, the position includes a shift differential for night shifts. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and are expected to provide high levels of service.

Qualifications

• No prior data center experience required; must have strong safety mindset.
• 3–5 years of experience in Tier 2, 3, or 4 data centers or technical facility maintenance.
• Proficiency in HVAC/R systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate data center mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R systems.
• Respond to building system alarms and execute preventive maintenance work.
• Mentor junior operators at senior levels.
