Job summary

Continental Dairy Facilities in Coopersville, Michigan, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform analytical and microbiological evaluations of raw, pasteurized, and final products. You will ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, AOAC, GFSI and GMP, and maintain accurate records while supporting FSQA initiatives on the night shift.

The role requires working 6:00 pm–6:30 am on a 2-2-3 schedule and willingness to work weekends/holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures.
• Must be able to troubleshoot small problems and ask for assistance when unclear.

Responsibilities

• Operate spectrometer, FTIR, moisture analyzers, pH meters and other lab equipment.
• Maintain required worksheets and logs accurately, electronically or on paper.
• Perform daily quality audits on the plant floor as assigned.
• Communicate results to the proper individuals in a timely, confidential, and professional manner.
• Comply with USDA, FDA, AOAC, GFSI, GMP and company safety rules.
