Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a fulltime Night Shift operator in Grand Rapids, MI. The role runs 6:45 pm – 7:00 am on a rotating schedule with a starting wage of $25.15 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Eligible for benefits from day one, plus an 8% 401(k) match and shift premiums.

You will follow GMP/SOP protocols, perform CIP with teams, maintain sanitation, and document batch records and logs. Prior dairy experience is preferred, along with LOTO and BPC certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow production changeovers and minimize downtime.
• Plan and schedule transfers and CIP with operators.
• Maintain, clean, sterilize equipment and work area per MSS and 5S standards.
• Monitor sterile and non-sterile zones for leaks.
• Complete batch records, cleaning forms, processor logs and work orders per GDPs.
• Identify CCPs and monitor temperature, pressure, and time.
• Meet production needs and minimize shrink and downtime.
• Troubleshoot processing equipment and aseptic tanks with maintenance as needed.
