Concertium seeks a Cyber Security Engineer for a night shift in Tampa, FL to protect data and environments through monitoring, security controls, vulnerability testing, and incident response within a 24x7 operating schedule. The role focuses on planning security measures, investigating events, and applying MITRE ATT&CK guidance while staying current with cyber threats.

Shift work is required in a continuous environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizen in the Tampa Bay area.
• 2+ years incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Cloud/SaaS/Networking and MDR/NGFW/SIEM/SOAR/Cloud Security.
• Cloud experience, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• 1+ years performing cyber security assessments.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security controls.
• Troubleshoot solutions for security challenges.
• Respond to all system and security breaches.
• Recommend and enable security controls to protect data and infrastructures.
• Participate in change and configuration management processes.
• Test and identify vulnerabilities in networks and systems.
• Complete daily administrative tasks, including reporting.
• Research weaknesses and develop countermeasures.
• Develop security best practices and standards for Concertium and clients.
• Use SIEM/SOAR/XDR/EDR and tools like ConnectWise, Security Onion, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, SureShield, CrowdStrike, and DUO.
