Job summary

SPAHR SOLUTIONS GROUP LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to defend DoD networks with 24/7 monitoring and incident response. The role requires night shifts at Ft Belvoir, VA, with travel around 10% and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

You will work alongside CSSP analysts to detect threats, investigate security events, and provide situational awareness to leadership, focusing on rapid remediation and risk mitigation across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst certifications required.
• Experience with SIEMs, Splunk, and Trellix ESS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze network/host artifacts from logs, images, and captures to identify activity and root cause.
• Perform initial cyber incident triage and determine urgency and impact; escalate as needed.
• Manage and document cyber defense incidents from detection to escalation.
• Provide 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring and response across DTRA’s distributed network operations environment.
• Collaborate with CSSP analysts, engineers, and agency stakeholders to assess risk and develop mitigations.
• Conduct research on threats and adversaries across open-source and government databases.
