Castelion is seeking a Night Shift Materials & Process Technician for CVD operations to support the development of hypersonic flight TPS materials. The role focuses on reactor operation, equipment readiness, and strict adherence to procedures to maximize uptime and throughput.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering to prepare reactors, perform turnaround activities, monitor processes, and ensure safe, reliable reactor operation in a night shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Overnight operation and monitoring of CVD reactors.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare reactors for production runs.
• Follow standard operating procedures and document process data.
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop process operations.
