This position offers pathway to Machine Operator/Mechanic status with a Monday–Saturday schedule (5:45 p.m. – 2:00/2:30 a.m.), with shifts potentially varying by department needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent needed.
• Additional trades training a strong plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak English required.
• Required math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
• CRC (Bronze level or higher) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates controls for feeding line, brine pump and conveyors.
• Unjams jars, removes nonconforming products and follows safety rules.
• Notifies shift personnel of changes and maintains clean work area.
• Completes downtime reports and monitors product safety/quality.
• Dumps caps, switches pumps off, and assists in washing and rework tasks.
