Job summary

Warwick Public Schools Toll Gate High School in Warwick, Rhode Island is seeking a Custodian - Nights for 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. The position runs 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with responsibilities including daily cleaning, operation of building systems, snow removal, and grounds work. Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment used in public school buildings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; follow directions accurately.
• Clear communication and ability to interact with staff, students and community.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated spaces to established standards using vacuuming, mopping, cleaning and floor-care tasks.
• Request and use chemicals, equipment and supplies as needed; dispose of garbage per guidelines.
• Move or assist with furniture, perform grounds maintenance and snow removal outside regular hours.
