Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a dedicated Custodian for the Graveyard shift at our Honolulu-area shopping center. You will maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and exterior spaces, and support the facility during nighttime hours to ensure a welcoming environment for daytime guests.

The role requires lifting 25–50 lbs, reading and following English instructions, and a willingness to train. We offer competitive pay and the chance to join a respected Hawaii-based team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Previous janitorial or custodian experience preferred; training available.
• Physically able to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work night shift and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the building's common areas, restrooms, and walkways.
• Clean interior and exterior surfaces using cleaning equipment.
• Manage trash removal and keep supplies stocked.
• Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns.
• Perform tasks as assigned by HBM supervisor.
