Job summary

NAMIC, a division of Medline, is hiring a Building & Grounds Custodian in Glens Falls, NY. The role starts at $18.00/hour with possible shift differential. Schedule: Sun–Thu 9:30pm–6:00am; training may occur on days.

You will perform custodial, groundskeeping and facility maintenance to keep the site safe and clean. Responsibilities include minor building repairs, snow removal, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to stand up to 12 hours daily, up to 6 days a week.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on-call.
• Must be able to work at heights and on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, mechanical tasks.
• Clean buildings daily: trash, vacuum, dust, sanitize floors and restrooms.
• Process trash removal and manage corrugated scraps with a baler.
• Check buildings at shift start/end for safety and cleanliness.
• Clear snow and spread sand/ice-melt chemicals.
• Coordinate repairs with the office manager and manage external vendors.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor maintenance on buildings.
