Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial tasks and building maintenance.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to report equipment issues and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks and maintenance of Student Union and related buildings.
• Dusts, mops, sweeps, scrubs, and polishes floors and glass surfaces.
• Collects and disposes of trash and performs recycling as instructed.
• Reports equipment in need of repair and conducts minor maintenance under supervision.
• May change light bulbs and lubricate hinges or drawers as needed.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and maintain safe access.
• Move furniture and set up meeting rooms for events.
• Performs other duties as required.
