Fluvanna County Public Schools seek to hire a night shift Custodian at Fluvanna Middle School (Grades 5-7) in Palmyra, Virginia. The shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with an immediate-start expectation and a start date around 9/25/26.

This position reports to the Principal/Supervisor and is nonexempt under the school system. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing the building, restrooms, and common areas; performing light maintenance; and assisting with event coverage after hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the school building and offices clean and orderly.
• Cleans toilets, sinks, floors, windows, and other fixtures.
• Maintains building and performs minor maintenance tasks.
• Reports major repairs or equipment needs to supervisor.
