Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, emails.
• Must write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one situations.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Virginia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, dusts and vacuums assigned area(s).
• Disinfects toilet doors, cleans fixtures daily; maintains sanitary conditions.
• Washes windows or furniture as needed and cleans drinking fountains.
• On-duty for events outside normal school hours when requested.
• Empties trash and cleans containers; assists with minor maintenance.
• Replaces air filters and notifies for major repairs.
• Maintains exterior areas; cleans snow, trims shrubbery, mows lawn.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
