Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. (GICE) seeks a Full Time Regular Service Worker in Brunswick, GA to lead custodial crews, ensure tasks meet contract requirements, and train staff on safety and procedures.

You will monitor supplies, complete daily paperwork, and coordinate with supervisors and case managers. Candidates should have 1-3 years custodial experience, be 21+, hold a Class C license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years custodial experience or similar relevant experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and hold a Class C Driver's License.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and basic arithmetic; strong written and oral communication.
• Must be able to utilize technology, including computers and mobile devices.
• Must be able to meet all required security clearances.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs, with or without accommodations.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead custodial crews to complete tasks per contract requirements.
• Train Custodians on tasks and safety.
• Ensure all Custodians have equipment and knowledge prior to each shift.
• Document timely completion of work and discrepancies using computer systems.
• Improve custodial techniques through hands-on training and support.
• Coordinate with shift supervisors, project management, and case managers for performance feedback.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports (time & attendance, maintenance logs, vehicle inspections, uniforms).
• Monitor supply and equipment usage and reorder as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete related assignments as needed.
