Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. is seeking a Custodian for day shift in Brunswick, GA. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing federal site facilities, including restrooms and offices, with on-site supervision and safety procedures in place.

We offer training throughout the 18‑month period, relocation of job placements to federal buildings, and support from case managers to develop new skills. Military experience is encouraged, and no college diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet all required security clearances.
• Proof of disability letter to satisfy accommodation requirements.
• Ability to perform constant physical labor and move items up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize buildings on a designated federal site, including restrooms, bathrooms, and offices, using established procedures.
• Keep equipment clean and report malfunctions or safety hazards to the Supervisor.
• Perform dusting and routine cleaning of restrooms, offices, and classrooms.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete related assignments to support the organization’s mission.
