Qualifications

• Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) is required.
• ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology or CT imaging.
• Completion of an accredited CT training program.

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Performs CT examinations with attention to protocol and image quality.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about exams and maintains workflow efficiency.
• Operates CT equipment safely, accommodating all age groups.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging.
• Follows radiation safety principles and ALARA guidelines.
• Reviews patient history for exam appropriateness.
