Job summary

AdventHealth in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams and maintain documentation in EMR and PACS. You will educate patients, ensure safety, and adapt protocols for patients of all ages while collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

The role requires ARRT RT(R) and RT(CT) certifications, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have patient-care and communication skills across age groups.
• Must be able to use computer systems for data entry and retrieval.
• ARRT certification RT(R) and RT(CT) are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about exams and completes them timely.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and adjusts protocols for all ages.
• Performs high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast per safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other providers for continuity of care.
