Job summary

UCHealth Emergency Aurora Central (Aurora, CO) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging and diagnostic procedures in alignment with scope and organizational standards.

The role collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians, reviews orders, educates patients, and ensures image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. This onsite night-shift position requires ARRT CT certification within 12 months and BLS. 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT CT registry within 12 months or registry eligible.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, orders, and labs to ensure appropriateness.
• Educates patient about procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding.
• Administers contrast media and medications per scope of practice; monitors patient condition.
• Performs POCT and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing per procedures; maintains quality control.
• Conducts EKG procedures and routine patient care tasks as required.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
