Job summary

Oviedo Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The role includes operating CT equipment, performing CT procedures, and maintaining ALARA standards while ensuring patient safety.

Day and shift coverage is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7pm to 7am, with call required for emergencies. The position involves responding to ER and department CT requests, assisting with protocol setup, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiology staff to ensure diagnostic

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiographer (R) required; (CT) preferred.
• State Registered Radiologic Technologist required.
• Vocational School Graduate required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with computerized ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Conduct all CT procedures and assist in ER/X-ray requests as needed.
• Establish scan protocols, apply specific applications, and manage contrast administration.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff.
