Job summary

Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, produce diagnostic images, and protect patient safety in a fast-paced radiology department.

You will prepare and position patients, manage contrast studies, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely results; a strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Night shift 8:00pm-6:00am with every 5th weekend day shift; benefits include health, 401(k), sign-on bonus, student loan repayment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience from an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 2-4 years CT technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Position patients and ensure safety during CT procedures.
• Verify patient identity, physician orders, and screen contraindications.
• Administer contrast media following safety protocols and monitor for reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely, accurate results.
• Perform quality control checks on CT equipment and report malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and adhere to infection control.
