Job summary

The Community Health Systems CT Technologist I operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare and position patients, maintain equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results with attention to detail and patient-centered care.

Eligible candidates work a night shift pattern (Wed, Thu, Fri 4:30p–6a) and participate in comprehensive benefits, including licensure reimbursement

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience through an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 2-4 years of CT technologist experience in an acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients using safe, modality-appropriate techniques.
• Verifies orders, screens for contraindications, and documents results.
• Administers contrast media per protocol and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs QC checks; supports radiologists.
• Collaborates with radiology team to ensure timely, patient-centered care.
