Job summary

Trinity Health is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Ontario OB Department. This 24-hour-per-week night position supports surgical procedures, rooms patients, and performs unit clerk and CNA tasks to deliver patient-centered care.

The role offers Day 1 benefits and may include incentives like a sign-on bonus. Night shift runs from 7pm to 7am, with weekend/holiday coverage possible, and requires CST certification and BLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist during overnight cesarean sections by preparing procedures for physicians and surgical staff under RN supervision.
• Room patients, set up charts, take vitals, assist with baby baths, stock the unit.
• Perform duties as Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant as needed to support patient care.
