Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift position in the Philadelphia region. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, utilizing the nursing process to address physical, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients.

Qualifications

Specialized Diploma in Nursing required.
Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and cultural sensitivity.
Effective communication with patients and families; ability to delegate appropriately.
Active RN license required in state of practice.
3 years critical care/ED RN experience required.
BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Interacts with patients and families and other staff to deliver safe, compassionate care.
Participates in education of patients and families to address learning needs.
Uses information technology to support care processes and monitor outcomes.
Works within nursing and inter-professional teams to provide quality care.
Participates in safety and quality improvement activities.
Acts in a preceptor role to staff as appropriate.
