Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Madison Campus is offering a temporary experienced RN assignment. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment and plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates patient responses and outcomes during the assigned shift.

Assignment lasts 13 weeks, with renewal possibility for up to 26 weeks per year. Night shifts with a minimum 48 hours per week, rotating weekends, and overtime eligibility are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Critical Care and/or Emergency Care strongly preferred.
• BLS required before orientation concludes; ACLS required if applicable to unit.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses and attainment of outcomes.
