Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an RN for Critical Care on night shifts. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, 6pm - 6:30am, with every other weekend.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, coordinating care plans, effective communication with the care team, patient and family education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Requires an Associate's degree or BSN, IL nursing license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicating effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
• Providing individualized education to patients and families based on thorough assessments.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
