Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a nurse for a full-time night shift in Arlington Heights, IL. The role supports patient assessment, care planning, and education while coordinating with the care team to ensure safe, timely interventions.

You will provide patient data collection, maintain up-to-date nursing practices, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Illinois licensure and AHA CPR are required. 36 hours weekly, 7pm–7:30am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
