Job summary

Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for Neuro Intensive Care to provide high-quality nursing care during the 7pm–7am night shift. The RN will assess patients, implement care plans, document care, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Open to both new graduates and experienced nurses; Arkansas RN license and CPR are required, with ACLS within 90 days and TNCC within 12 months encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Arkansas RN license and CPR required; ACLS within 90 days, required; TNCC within 12 months, required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive and accurate patient assessment using evidence-based assessment tools.
• Provide nursing care according to plan and undertake clinical practice skills in a competent and safe manner.
• Identify changes in patient’s condition and report to appropriate providers.
• Monitor the care that patients receive and maintain accurate medical records.
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
• Evaluate patient’s progress toward expected clinical outcomes in collaboration with the patient and health care team.
