Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Florida to join our patient care team. You will perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, monitor airway patency, and manage ventilator settings across invasive and noninvasive modalities.

The role includes administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, assisting with airway management, and responding to emergent events while documenting care. Full-time, night shift with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Active state Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner license (RRT/RCP).
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and ventilator management (invasive and noninvasive).
• Monitor patient response and intervene for unintended responses; communicate with providers.
• Transport ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent situations to secure airway and ventilation.
