Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel within the department.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
• Ensures the quality of staff and functions during the shift and directs operations as needed.
• Performs direct patient care within the scope of practice when required and adjusts care plans as needed.
