Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in a part-time role. You will provide direct patient care, communicate changes in condition to physicians, and maintain patient privacy in a high-acuity setting.

Candidates must hold a valid California RN license, have or pursue critical care training, and maintain BCLS and ACLS certifications. Prior CCU/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current valid CA Registered Nurse license.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
