Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Critical Care Department Night Shift. This role provides comprehensive patient care in ICU under protocol, collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a bachelor's, master's preferred, active Florida license, BLS and ACLS, and oncology/critical care experience. This full-time position offers a $10K sign-on bonus and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accrediting body.
• Active BLS and ACLS (AHA approved).
• Experience in oncology, critical care, emergency medicine and/or general internal medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating with multiple specialists.
• Correlates subjective and objective data to form a differential or working diagnosis.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate within scope of practice.
• Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
