Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an RN for the 2 North Medical ICU on the night shift. This role provides specialized care to critically ill cancer patients requiring complex therapies in a 16-bed unit.

Ideal candidates have ICU/inpatient experience, FL RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS. The position offers full-time, on-site work with CRRT education opportunities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Current RN licensure in Florida or multi-state privilege with Florida as primary residence within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at time of hire for certain specialties.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Delivers individualized care aligned with ANA ethics and facility standards.
• Documents baseline and progress notes in a timely, accurate manner.
• Participates in professional development and evidence-based improvement activities.
