Job summary

MHC Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Co-Response Crisis Counselor for Nashville, TN. You will provide face-to-face crisis intervention and follow-up care coordination while co-responding with the Metro Nashville Fire Department.

Role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and a Tennessee driver’s license. You will collaborate with REACH, CIT Co-response, and Mobile Crisis teams to connect clients with appropriate resources.

Qualifications

• Mental health crisis intervention training and relevant licensure knowledge.
• Ability to document assessments and interventions clearly and accurately.
• Experience coordinating care with community resources and other agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis assessments and interventions during psychiatric emergencies.
• Provide immediate mental health support and coordinate consumer care across resources.
• Ride along with Metro Nashville Fire Department to crisis calls and provide follow-up as needed.
• Develop individualized crisis plans and collaborate with REACH, CIT Co-response, and Mobile Crisis teams.
