Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Cook to lead meal preparation, craft high-quality dishes, and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen for a welcoming dining experience.

You will prepare hot and cold meals, follow menus and recipes, and ensure timely service while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED and 1 year of food service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend,stoop, and reach throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals following daily menus,portionguidelines, and company recipes.
• Cook, season, and present food with consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen including prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and portion control standardsat all times.
• Monitor inventory levels andassistwith ordering food and supplies.
• Collaborate with cafeteria team members to ensure smooth meal service and fast turnaround times.
• Assistwith meal setup, breakdown, and cleaning before and after service periods.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to guests and support a positive dining environment.
