Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Cook for a night shift at 8826 W Route 24, Mapleton, IL 61547. The role requires food service/culinary experience and offers benefits. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 am–8:30 am with online applications accepted. Competent in following HACCP and safety guidelines.

Eligible applicants will support production, portioning, and quality control while maintaining clean, safe kitchen operations and contributing to team success.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or culinary required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting standards, ensuring proper temperature and attractive presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe handling.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, stores items per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
