Job summary

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is seeking a Cook to contribute to multiple outlets by following established recipes, preparing and garnishing dishes, and presenting items to guests with attentive service.

Requirements include 6 months to 2 years of cooking experience in fast food or casual/fine dining. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential for hours between 10:00pm and 6:00am; note this is not a smoke-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of relevant cooking experience in a fast food restaurant or casual/fine dining environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish and garnish all food in accordance with established recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Takes and logs the temperature of food and ensures proper cooking temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned culinary station.
• Assist with training other cooks as directed by management.
