Job summary

Unifi Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Control Technician for its Recycle and Spinning Plants in Yadkinville, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The position offers 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with competitive hourly pay from $25.33 up to $34.03 DOE, plus a $1.00 shift premium for nights.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Two-year associate's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent, or significant comparable experience.
• Strong industrial electrical background and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in the plant.
• Perform repairs including motors, inverters, switches and connectors.
• Calibrate equipment and assist with setup and changes.
• Change AGV battery cases and perform electrical maintenance on palletizers.
• Adhere to safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
