Job summary

UNIFI, Inc. is seeking a Control Technician for our Recycle and Spinning Plants in Yadkinville, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.

We offer competitive hourly rates starting at $25.33 per hour with top pay up to $34.03 per hour DOE, plus a $1.00/night shift premium for 12-hour nights and a 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Two-year associate's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred, or significant comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in the plant.
• Perform repairs including motors, inverters, switches and connectors.
• Calibrate equipment and assist with setup and changes.
• Maintain AGV battery cases and electrical systems on palletizers.
• Observe all safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
