Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a dedicated facilities technician to perform maintenance and construction tasks in a healthcare setting. You will read blueprints, supervise projects, and coordinate with external contractors to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires 5+ years of construction trade experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate power equipment. This is a full-time night-shift position within a large faith-based health system focused on patient

Qualifications

• 5+ construction trade experience required.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and specs; use of scissor lift or forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paints and repairs walls, doors and other surfaces as needed.
• Oversees and coordinates construction and maintenance projects.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Inspects for safety hazards and quality, coordinating with contractors as needed.
• Operates power tools and equipment to complete tasks, including flooring installations.
