Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Anaheim, CA seeks a night-shift Superintendent to lead subcontractors and Turner trade labor. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence while supervising assistants and interns.

Reports to Project Superintendent or Project Manager. You will coordinate complex trades, resolve issues, manage billing, and ensure contract conformance on a major project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, scheduling and cost control procedures, contract docs, drawings and specs, including Microsoft Office and EH&S applications.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate scheduling, delivery, logistics and staffing for trades.
• Promote coordinated operations and resolve procedures, design clarifications and schedule issues.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns; provide performance input.
• Create schedules, sequencing and recovery strategies to maintain progress.
• Communicate with owners and architects about field issues; resolve them.
• Manage the billing process related to WIP and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work installed complies with approved contract documents.
