Job summary

HKA Enterprises seeks an experienced Night Shift Construction Manager to lead field operations on a large-scale aseptic production facility in Clayton, NC. This role will own nightly coordination of shift activities, manage multi-discipline subcontractors, ensure work quality and safety compliance, and partner closely with the day shift team for seamless handoffs.

Qualifications

15+ years construction site experience.
Experience managing large-scale, multi-discipline Life Sciences projects.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

Lead daily coordination of night shift field activities and manage shift turnover with the day team.
Supervise multi-discipline subcontractors with emphasis on MEP trades.
Coordinate pipe pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, passivation, blowdown, and drying activities.
Ensure work quality through QA/QC inspection and reporting.
Support commissioning and qualification of MEP systems.
Drive safety culture across the job site — safety first, always.
Communicate construction activities, schedules, and conflict resolutions with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
