Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise commercial electrical installations under project management.

This Working Foreman role combines hands-on electrical work with leading journeymen and apprentices to meet NEC requirements, productivity goals, and project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction for retail new construction and tenant improvements.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience as a commercial electrical journeyman, with at least two years as a foreman.
• Retail construction project experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong English literacy for management communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily electrical work while performing installations.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and panel schedules to lay out tasks.
• Monitor productivity to meet schedules and installation requirements.
• Install conduit, raceways, cable trays, and cabling per specs.
• Install wiring, boxes, switches, lighting, and commercial equipment.
• Terminate conductors in panels and control gear.
• Troubleshoot and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Lead toolbox talks and train journeymen and apprentices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades on sequencing and materials.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety procedures.
