Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking a Collator Operator to join the Temple, Texas facility's Corestock Department. You will be responsible for preparing rolls, maintaining machine operations, and coordinating daily inventory needs with team leads.

The role requires attention to quality, safety, and efficient line performance during the night shift. You will perform setup, light administrative tasks, and ensure timely processing with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Contech experience; or 1 year of experience in a Phenolic/Core area if no other applicants meet the 6‑month requirement.
• Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
• Knowledge of safety standards applicable to production areas and related work regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily inventory needs from the Phenolic Checker or Team Lead.
• Visually inspect rolls for damage and discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can.
• Continuously monitor raw materials for visual quality and line‑up, making necessary adjustments.
• Thread machine up; make splices and re‑thread machine as needed.
• Change out pallets and ensure corresponding tags are placed on each completed pallet.
• Complete all computer work and paperwork related to the role.
• Set up rolls for the oncoming crew.
• Maintain proper machine operation at all times during the night shift (5pm – 5am).
• Regular attendance required.
