Job summary

Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces in Temple, Texas, has an opening for a night shift Collator Operator (5pm–5am). You will manage material collating to specified lengths, ensure the machine runs smoothly, and maintain safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of Contech experience or 1 year in Phenolic/Core, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality control, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Contech experience or 1 year in Phenolic/Core.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production areas.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily inventory needs from Phenolic Checker or Team Lead.
• Visually inspect rolls for damage and discard damaged paper appropriately.
• Continuously monitor raw materials for quality and alignment; adjust as needed.
• Thread machine and perform splices; re-thread as required.
• Change pallets and ensure tags are attached to each completed pallet.
• Complete all computer work and paperwork.
• Set up rolls for the oncoming crew.
• Regular attendance is required.
