Kalman Manufacturing Inc is a Morgan Hill, California CNC precision shop offering a night shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM) with four 10-hour shifts and three-day weekends. The company operates 40+ CNC machines and serves medical device, aerospace, instrumentation, automotive, and other demanding industries.

We seek experienced CNC mill operators with 3+ years of experience who can inspect their own parts, use precision measuring tools, and work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC mill operating experience
• Experience operating CNC vertical and/or horizontal machining centers
• Ability to inspect your own parts and use precision measuring tools
• Recognize when parts are out of tolerance
• Familiarity with tooling, fixtures and indexers
• Complete inspection documentation
• Adequate shop math skills
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work night shift

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC vertical and/or horizontal machining centers
• Run assigned jobs safely and efficiently
• Inspect your own machined parts
• Use standard precision measuring equipment
• Monitor parts for dimensional accuracy and quality
• Identify when parts are out of tolerance
• Complete required inspection documentation
• Work with tooling, fixtures, indexers and related equipment
• Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
• Help train other CNC operators as needed
• Communicate effectively with the production team
