Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining or CNC machine operating experience.
• Experience operating CNC horizontal mills.
• Ability to independently run a job after setup.
• Ability to make and adjust offsets.
• Understanding of cutter compensation.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to inspect your own work.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to recognize dimensional and cosmetic defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC horizontal machining centers.
• Independently manage jobs from start to finish after setup.
• Make and adjust machine offsets.
• Understand and apply different offset types.
• Work with cutter compensation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and part features.
• Inspect your own parts throughout the machining process.
• Identify dimensional and cosmetic defects.
• Troubleshoot machining issues before escalating them.
• Maintain high standards for precision and part quality.
• Communicate effectively with the production team.
